Kidney Function (CI-AKI)

  • eGFR ≥60: Negligible risk.
  • eGFR 45-59: Low-Mod risk. Hydrate.
  • eGFR 30-44: Moderate risk. Consult.
  • eGFR <30:< /strong> HIGH RISK. Contraindicated.

Metformin (RANZCR)

  • eGFR ≥30: No cessation needed.
  • eGFR <30:< /strong> Withhold 48h post-contrast. Re-assess renal function.

Thyroid Function

  • Hyperthyroid (Low TSH): Risk of thyroid storm. Consult.
  • Hypothyroid (High TSH): Generally safe.
